Carrier Program
Recognized as the highest safety standard of the waterways transportation industry, the Responsible Carrier Program (RCP) maintains and develops policies and procedures that prevent accidents and injuries. Surpassing the standard of existing government regulations, the RCP regulates company management policies, vessel equipment conditions, and many other human factors in order to ensure that this high level of safety is maintained. The marine industry’s compliance with these regulations has helped tugboat and towboat operators reduce accidents and remain the safest transporters of cargo in the United States.
